The 50BMG is not for the timid... It sends enough powder and bullet down range to make quite a ruckus. Suppressing 250+ grains of gritty-supersonic-blowtorch is not easy. The MG50 tames the beast.
*** When switching from a 50BMG muzzle brake to the MG50 suppressor, shooters may experience slightly heavier recoil. The end user assumes all liability for use of this device. KNOW YOUR ABILITIES! ***
Precision CNC machined from 100% 17-4PH stainless steel, laser welded and then hardened to the max. The final result is a suppressor with a hardness of 45-47Rc and tensile strength of 190,000psi.
Muzzle brake ring option:
This option replaces the last baffle with a 360 muzzle brake segment. This helps reduce recoil with the excess gasses exiting the can. While those gasses are very slow compared to a bare-muzzle muzzle brake, the volume of gas does work to reduce recoil of the whole system. This is meant for the 50BMG hosts as it has enough gas to effective drive the brake. Smaller caliber and load hosts will not effectively drive the brake and are therefore not necessary. If you are not the using the suppressor on a 50BMG or a similarly large powder capacity host, the muzzle brake ring is not worth it.
